Bari pur sukoon thi Zndgi Naya Dard ksny jga Diya
Ksi be-nyaz nigah nay meri Wehshaton ko barha diya

meray humsfr ka yeh Hukam tha k klaam os sy main kam Krun
Meray hont aisay silay k phr osay meri chup nay rula diya

Mujhay Apnay ishq pay naz tha, mgr os k Qol ka Pas tha
Meray Saarh jo b thay Ro paray, wo kmaal Zabt dikha gaya

Osay Sher Sun-nay ka Zoq tha mujhay arz-e-haal ka shoq tha
isi Zoq-o-Shoq main aik din osay Dil ka Haal suna diya
