ke apni mudat pori kare
aur ruksat ho jaye

muhabat sawan nahi hai
toot kar barsey
aur tham jaye

muhabat aag nahi hai
sulgay bharkey
aur bujh jaye

muhabat aftab nahi hai
ubray chamkey
aur dhal jaye

muhabat tu chand ki manid hai
jo bahrta hai ghata hai
nikalta hai chupta hai
phir be `FANA`nahi hota
