Ye jo shafaaf sa ik aks us jheel mein tha,
Koi chehra tha magar chaand ki tamseel mein tha,

Yaad karta hu kahan bhool k aya hu usay,
Aisa hi aks meri soch ki zambeel mein tha,

Baat kia thi ye mujhe achi tarah yaad nahi,
Haan aap ka zikr b tha aur bari tafseel se tha,

Koi pegham tha ankhon mein so ankhon mein raha,
Masla asal to paigham ki tarseel mein tha,

Is naye nuskhe mein takhreef hui hai warna,
Zikr mera bhi kahin pyar ki injeel mein tha……
