raat Khairaat kii sadqe kii sahar hotii hai

saaNs bhrane ko to jiinaa nahiiN kahte yaa rab
dil hii dukhtaa hai na ab aastiiN tar hotii hai

jaise jaagii hu’ii aaNkhoN meN chubheN kaaNch ke Khvaab
raat is tarah diivaanoN kii basar hotii hai

Gham hii dushman hai meraa Gham hii ko dil Dhndhta hai
ek lamhe kii judaa’ii bhii agar hotii hai

ek markaz kii talaash ek bhaTakatii Khushbuu
kabhii manzil kabhii tamhiid-e-safar hotii hai
