Talaash

raat ki besukoon khamoshi mein
ro raha hoon ke so nahi sakta
raahaton ke mahal banataa hai
dil jo aabaad ho nahi sakta

door shama-e-khayaal ke manind
shama waadi ki jhilmilatii hai
yaas ke beqaraan(limitless) andheray mein
ek umeed muskurati hai

door parbat ke paas charwaha
kho gayaa ghum_faza taraanon mein
bain karti hai ruuh-e-zakhm_alood(wounded soul)
baansuri ki naheef taanon mein

tere jaanay ka ghum bhulata hoon
tere aanay ki yaad ati hai
haaye is bebasi ke aalam mein
kis zamaane ki yaad ati hai

shab ko veeraan rah_guzaaron se
sar jhukaaye hue guzarta hoon
qahqahoon mein qaraar khoya tha
ansoon mein talaash karta hoon
