wo meraa hamsafar he magar faslaa bhii rakhtaa he
kabhi kabhi tu ye chaand mujhe ajnabii saa lagtaa he

wo agar aik ajnabii he tu apnii raaH per chlaa karay
kyouN mere khyaal kii dunyaa maiN aa ke bastaa he

meraa hii khyaal haqiiqat ho ye zaroorii tu NaheeN
ye kon shakhs he ju merii be basii pe haNstaa he

nyaa pairhan aur puraanay muraasimouN maiN kho jana
Khushi tanhaa nahi hoti gham se bhii eskaa rishtaa he

bheegay mosamouN maiN ye aur bhi khill jataa he Waheed
ye daagh-e-muhabat ab kahaaN barishouN se dhultaa he
