Khud apni nigahon main gunahgar bhi main tha

Kuin ab meray mansab ki salami ko kharay ho
Yaro kabhi ruswa sar-e-bazar bhi main tha

Main khud he chupa tha kaf-e-qatil ki shikan main
Muqtol ki toti hui talwar bhi main tha

Manzil pe jo pohancha hoon to maloom huwa hay
Khud apnay liay Raah ki dewar bhi main tha

Dekha to main he afshan tha har ek zehan pe Umair
Socha to pus-e-Parda e Israr bhi main tha...
