kabhi shaam kabhi aanchal ka kinara dena,
mein agar doob ke ubhroon to sahara dena,

teri ulfat mein mukammal hoon har pehlu se,
mujhe dard bhi dena to saara dena,

main tujhe ghum ke samandar mein kinara doonga,
tu mujhe hijr ke tufaan mein sitara dena,

main teri yaad ke sehra mein kahi rehta hoon,
kabhi aana to halka sa ishaara dena,
..
