Itna hi yaad rakh mujhe
Jaise kisi kitaab mein
Beetey dinon ke dost ka
Khat ik para huwa miley

Lafz mitey mitey se hon
Rang uraa uraa sahi
Lekin woh ajnabi na ho
Uth kar tere galey lage
Bhoole huwe tamaam dukh
Guzrey huwe tamaam sukh
Beetey dinon ki kathaa
Tujh se kahe aur ro pare

Itna hi yaad rakh mujhe
Beetey dinon ke dost ka
Jaise koi khat hoon main
Rakha huwa kitaab mein
