LAHORE: Despite losing the last Test and the ODI series against South Africa in UAE, Pakistan cricket team captain Misbah ul Haq is still hopeful of better performances.
Talking to media at the airport on his return from Dubai he said that he tried to perform as well as he could and will continue to do so in the future.
Misbah was particularly harsh on his batsmen and said that the underperforming batsmen should be held responsible for the team’s poor performances.
The Pakistan skipper was a bit disappointed that despite scoring 1700 runs in the year he is being accused of playing selfishly and not for the team.
He also said that not only the juniors but the selectors and the PCB must have witnessed how even the senior members performed.
Finally he said that he did not think that all was lost and was upbeat about improved performances in the future.
Be Positive... Everything Gonna be Alright
