HELPING ONE'S FAMILY WITH HOUSEWORK

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I asked 'Aa`ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) what the Messenger of Allah sallallahu 'alayhi wa salam used to do in the house. She said: ► "He used to help with the housework and when it was time to pray he would leave for the prayer " [Al-Bukhari: 676]

FACE THE KHATEEB

Mut’ee bin Al-Hakim (may Allah be pleased with him) said, Whenever the Prophet (sallahu alayhi wa salim) used to ascend on the Minbar we used to turn facing him.”

Collected by Bukhari in Tareek (2102). Al-Albani graded this hadeeth as being Saheeh in Silsilah # 2080

AVOID THE DOUBTFUL MATTERS"

The Prophet Muhammad (sallahu alayhi wa salim) said “That which is lawful is clear, and that which is unlawful is also quite clear. Between these two is that which is ambiguous, which most people do not know. One who avoids the doubtful safeguards his faith and his honour.” [Riyadh-us-Salaheen, Hadith 588.]

LOVE THE POOR
The Prophet Muhammad (sallahu alayhi wa salim) said: “Do not turn away a poor man…even if all you can give is half a date. If you love the poor and bring them near you…God will bring you near Him on the Day of Resurrection.”
