Umeedon ke saharey jee kar khud ko dhoka deta hoon,
Teri yaad mein jal kar rooh ko aziyat deta hoon,

Parwaah nahin karta koi kya samajhta hai mujhe,
Koi maange nafrat bhi, Tou mohabbat lazawaal deta hon,

Har baar ishaarey deti hai woh judai ke,
Har baar mein muskuraa ke taal deta hoon,

Aa chal thaam le ab tu mera hath,
Tere naam ko mein apna naam deta hoon,

Tora nahin aik muddat se ab kisi ka dil bhi,
Koi maange sath to dil mein jagha deta hoon,

Daur-e-wasl mein yeh naubat aagayi hai,
Apne hathon ko tere hathon se mila deta hoon..
