wo baatein teri wo fasaane tere
shagufta shagufta bahaane tere

bas ek zakhm nazzaaraa hissaa mera
bahaarein teri aashiyaane tere

bas ek daag-e-sajda meri qaayenaat
jabeenein teri aastaane tere

zameer-e-sadaf mein kiran ka muqaam
anokhe anokhe Thikaane tere

faqeeron ka jamaghaT ghari do ghari
sharaabein teri baadaaKhaane tere

bahaar-o-Khizaan kam nigaahon ke vaham
bure ya bhale sab zamaane tere

"Adam" bhi hai tera hikaayat_kadaah
kahaan tak gaye hain fasaane tere
