rotha howa ek dost

aaj rotha howa ek dost bohat yad aaya
acha guzra howa waqt bohat yad aaya

meri ankhon k her ek ashk per rony wala
aaj jubh aankh yun bohat roi tu yaad ayaa

jo mery dard ko seeny mey chupa leta tha
aaj jubh dard mila i tu boaht yaad aaya

jo meri aankh mey rehta tha kajal ke terha
aaj jubh kajal jo lagaya tu bohat yad ayaa

jo mery dil k qareeb tha faqat us ko he
aaj jubh dil ney bhulaya tu bohat yaad aaya......
