Chand ko dekh ke bechen samandar dekho

Chuamna chaahe chand ko paagal dekho

Beqaraari me tadapta he judaa chand se wo

Milne ko chaand se bechen wo kitna dekho

Badhtaa he chaand or badhti chaahat uski

Chandni raat me kitna wo tadhapta dekho

Jab siyaah raat ho to es ko sukun hoota he

chen se kitna siyaah raat me jakar dekho
