Wo jise smajhtay they zindagi
Wo dharkano ka fareb tha
Mujhe muskurana sikha k wo
Meri ruh tak ko rula gaya

Wo k jis ko pane ki chah main
Main kabhi khilta gulab tha
Meri pankhri bikhar gai
Mujhay apni thokar laga gaya

Ajab shaksh tha wo ae zindagi
Jise smajh k bhi na smaj sakey
Mujhay chahata bhi ghazab ka tha
Mujhay chor ke bhi chala gaya
