Ek jazba khak hua dil ki gehrayion me kahin
ta’ajjub hai maut par uski koi roya tak nahin,

sahil se to chale the sath me hamsafar banker
sagar ne duboya�hum hi�ko unhe to bhigoya tak nahin,

ankhon me zinda khuwab thay ya khuwab me zinda ankhen,
tutne k bad hi jana ki unhone to sanjoya tak nahin,

nadani me jinki khatir sab lutane nikle the hum
dekho humare na rehne per bhi unka kuch khoya tak nahin.
