woh jazboo ki tijarat thi
yeh dil kuch or samjhta tha
osay hasnay ki aadat thi
yeh dil kuch or samjhta tha
mujhay os nay kaha aao
nayi duniya basaatay hai
osay sooji shararat thi
yeh dil kuch or samjhta tha
hamesha os ki ankho mai
dhanak say rang hotay thay
yeh os ki aam haalat thi
yeh dil kuch or samjhta tha
woh meray paas betha
daer tak ghazlay meri sonta
osay khud say mohabbat thi
yeh dil kuch or samjhta tha

yeh ek waqt ki inayat thi
yeh dil....................................
