Ik dua di aas ch saari raat jaage
par koi taara ambro tutya na

Chura ke nazar langh gaye kolo di
ohna haal vi saada puchhya na

Badi muddat ton reejh si kujh aakhan di
par koi manya na koi rusya na

Assi dil tey hath rakh takde rahe
ohna da turda kadam koi rukya na

Ohna de bullaan te haase khid de rahe
tey saade nain’o paani sukya na

Ik milan di aas rahi dil vich
tey issi aas ch jeevan mukya na
