Ik shakhs k kho janay ka darr kyun nahin jata
ye bojh meray DiL se utar kyun nahin jata

manzil pe pohnch kar bhi usay khona paray ga
ye tay hai to phir shauq-e-safar kyun nahin jata

main jab bhi tarashon, tera paikar hi tarashon
ye zauq-e-nazar, ye shauq-e-hunar kyun nahin jata
