bohat masoom thay hum bhi

humein ab yaad aata hai

bohat masoom thay hum bhi

ke hum ik ajnabi ko umr ki tareek rahon mein

sahara maan bethay thay

ke uske chaand chehre ko

hum apne bakht ka roshan sitara maan bethay thay

humein maloom hi kab tha

ke dasht-e-zindagani mein saharay choot jaate hein

kabhi aisa bhi hota hai

nazar jin pe theharti hai

woh taare toot jaate hein

bohat masoom thay hum bhi
