Ye zard mausam ke Khushk patte
hawa jinhain le gai urakar
agar kabhi in ko dekh pao
to soch lena
ki in main har barg ke namoo main
ziya gaya arq shaKh-e-gul ka
kabhi ye sarsabz konpalain the
kabhi ye shadab bhi rahe hain
khole huye honTh ki tarah narm aur shagufta
bahut dino tak
ye sabz patte
hawa ke reloo main bebasi se tarap chuke hain
