![]() CHICKPEA AND TAHINA SALAD Chickpeas and crunchy vegetables tossed with mayonaise and tahina to give the salad a unique flavour. Preparation Time : 30-40 minutes Cooking Time : 6-8 minutes Servings : 4 INGREDIENTS Chickpeas (kabuli chana), boiled 2 cups Tahini 1/2 tablespoon Mayonnaise 1/2 cup Olive oil 1 tablespoon Lemon juice 2 teaspoons Salt to taste Black pepper powder to taste Cucumber , seeded and diced 1 medium Tomato , seeded and diced 1 medium Carrot, grated 1 medium METHOD Place tahina and mayonnaise in a small bowl.Using a wire whisk, whisk in olive oil and lemon juice. Add salt and black pepper powder to taste. Place chickpeas, cucumber, tomato and carrot in a large bowl. Pour dressing on the chickpeas mixture and toss well. Serve immediately with sliced wheat bread.
