Jaagti raat k honton pe fasaane jese,
Aik pal main simat aaye hon zamaane jese.

Aqal kehti hai bhula do jo nahin mil paaya!
Dil wo pagal k koi baat na maane jese.

Raaste main wohi manzar hain puraane ab tak,
Bas kami hai to nahin log puraane jese.!

Aaieena dekh k ehsaan yahi hota hai,
Le gaya Waqt ho umaron k khazaane jese.

Raat ki aankh se tapke huye aanssoo,
Makhmali khaas pe moti k hon daane jese.
