Mere dil di pehli kahani parh
Kisi hor nu yaar banavi na,

Menu soch samjh k dil devi,
Merey nal mazaq banavi na,

Is Pyar vich roley hondey ney,
Dil Qaim rakhi qabravi na,

Je tu mangey tey main jind dey saa’n
Par kisey hor nu yaar banavi na,

Jag sara aey ais pyar da aey,
Beqadrey nu dard sunavi na,

Aey dunyia bari hi zalim aey,
Anu kadi vi dukh sunavi na,

Har ik nai Honda pyar dey qabil,
Aey gal meri tu bulavi na,

Jey mil javey tenu dost sacha,
Us dost nu fair bulavi na,
