Pathar tha magar barf k gaalon ki tarah tha,
EK SHAKHS andheron mein ujaalon ki tarah tha,

Khawabon ki tarah tha na khayalon ki tarah tha,
WOH Ilm-e-Reyazi k sawalon ki tarah tha,

Uljha hua aisa k kabhi hal ho nahi paya,
SULJHA hua aisa k misaalon ki tarah tha,

WOH mil to gya tha magar apna he muqaddar,
Shatranj ki uljhi hui chaalon ki tarah tha,

WOH rooh mein khushbu ki tarah ho gya tehleel,
JO door bohat chaand k haalon ki tarah tha...
