Ek choti si bachi guzar rahe thee ek galee se
"Paisay dai do” bool rahee thee har rahi se

Maathe ke lakheeron ko to woh badal na payee
Haath ke lakeeron ko bharna chahati hai paisoun se

Baal ujle hai, taan kai kapree phaathe howee hain
Phir bhi chehre pai muskaan hai, shayad bebasee se

Jo rakh deta hai koi ek paisa us hathelee mai
Apne badkismati ke chole se lakh duayen dete hai dil se

Umar to hai uske khelne khudne ki abhi
Par zindagi ka matlab sikh rahi hai abhi se
