Mairey maalik ne mairey haq may ye ehsaan kiya
khaak na cheez tha main,so muje insan kiya

is sirey dil ki kharabi hui aey ishq daraigh
tu ne kis khana matboo ko wairan kiya

zabt tha jab tayee chahat na hui thi zaahir
ashk ne beh k mairey chehrey pe toofan kiya

tanha shauq ki dil ne jo saba se poochi
ik kaf khaak koi in ne pareshan kiya

muj ko shayer na kaho meer k sahab maine
dard_o_gham kitne kiye jama to deewan kiya
