Tum meri kon ho tum se taluq hai kaisa,
Tum kisi dhund mein lipti hui tanhai ho..!

Meri shohrat ho dua ho ruswai ho,
Bat karti ho” kabi chup mein bikhar jati ho..!

Kiun meri rooh k goshon par sitam dhati ho,
Tum meri kon ho tum se taluq kaisa..!

Gungunati ho to” to mehsoos yeh hota hai muje,
Jese daryaon k sahil se sadaa aati ho..!

Door jata hoo to daman se lipat jati ho,
Paas aata hoon to khuwabon mein utar jati ho..!

Tum mere paas ho na door ho dil se,
Tum meri kon ho tum se yeh taluq kaisa ..!!
