Aj rUtha hUwa ik dOst bOhat Yaad Aya,
Acha ghUzra hUwa kUch Waqat bOhat Yaad Aya,

Meri Ankh ke Har ik Ashak pe rOnay Wala,
Aj Jab Ankh ye rOyi tOo bOhat Yaad Aya,

Jo Meray Dard kO Seenay Mein chUppa Laita Tha,
Aj Jab Dard hUwa Mujh kO tOo bOhat Yad Aya,

Jo Meray Dil ke Tha Kareeb Fakat,, Usko Hi
Aj Dil Ne jO bOlaya tOo bOhat Yad Aya,

Meray JeeWan ki Har khUshi Mein Wohi Tha Bas,
Aj Jab Yaad wO Aya tOo bOhat Yaad Aya.
