angrai par angrai leti hai rat judai ki
tum kya samjho tum kya jano bat meri tanhai ki

kaun siyahi ghol raha tha waqt k bahte dariya mein
main ne ankh jhuki dekhi hai aj kisi harjai ki

wasl ki rat na jane kyun israr tha unko jane par
waqt se pahle dub gae taron ne bari danai ki

urte urte as ka panchi dur ufaq mein dub gaya
rote rote baith gai awaz kisi saudai k
