Zindagi k liye kab koi nishaan chorti hai
Jaan jab jism say payraahan-e-jaan chorti hai

Jab bhi hota hai yaqeen apnay akaylay pann ka
Aik aahat teray honay ka gumaan chorti hai

Raat k zakham chamaktay hein sitaaron ki terhan
Tu jo qadmon k talay keh-kashaan chorti hai

Jis ko lagtay hein us hi shakhs k dil say poocho
Teer jo tunz k bay-baak zabaan chorti hai

Ye haqeeqat hai ye afwaah nahi hai .....
Jitni kam aag ho utna hi dhuwaan chorti hai.
