chandni se ab kah do
is gali nahi aana
khwaab jag jaate hain
unko phir nahi sona

furqrton ka jadoo hai
lafzon me dhala hai jo
yaad liye jagna hai
yaad liye hai sona

paas koi chahat ho
lafz mehak jaate hain
verna bahut mushkil hai
koi nazm yun bona

benyaaz nazron me
ik aqs mera hai
jab vo jhalak jaata hai
saara din lage sona

jaane kaise jeete hain
khwaab ke jazeere me
dhund me hi rehte hain
dhund me hi hai khona
