karay jab tazkira koi
karay jab tabsira koi
tumhari zaat ko khojay
tumhari baat ko sochay
mujhay achha nahin lagta

tumhari muskurahat per
hazaron log martay hon
tumhari aik aahat per
hazaron dil dharaktay hon
kisi ka tum pe youn marna
mujhay achha nahin lagta

hawa guzray tumhain chhoo ker
na ho ga zabt yeh mujh se
karay gustaakhian tum se
mujhay achha nahin lagta

k tum ko phool bhi daikhain
tumharay paas woh mehkain
ya chanda ki guzarish ho
k apni roshni bakhshoon
rukh-e-janan koi daikhay
mujahy achha nahin lagta
