ajab larki thi rehti thi bas khayalon mein
wo zarb karti thi taqseem k sawalon mein

classroom mein pencil talash karti thi
wo bhool jati thi us ko laga k balon mein

us ki ankhon se bazahir thi har ik baat jese
wo band rehti thi dil k hazar taloon mein

wo pyar choton se izzat baron ki karti thi
na mein bachon mein aa saka na umar walon mein

jani ab bhi agar haseenon k chehrey na parhey
to hum ny seekha kiya college k do salon mein.
