KhizaaN k rang meiN abhii bahaar baaqi hai
chiraaG-e-sahaR hai paR intazaar baaqi hai

hameiN salaam karo ai havaadis-e-dauraaN
tumhaare saath haiN phir bhii qaraaR baaqi hai

guzar chukaa hai umeedoNn ka qaafilaa kab kaa
raah-e-yaqeeN pe ab bhii Gubaar baaqii hai

hameiN pukaaR lo jab chaaho ham mile'nge vahiN
mile haiN Khaak meiN lekin vaqaaR baaqii hai

kuj sheher de log vi zalim san

kuj sanun maran da shoq vi si
