Jub kari se kari nahin milti
Wajah e afsurdgi nahin milti

Pehle purkaryan na milti thin
Aur ab sadgi nahin milti

Husun men ishq dhundne walon
Dhoop men chandni nahin milti

Agahi ki talab na ho jub tak
Tub talak agahi nahin milti

Tum gaey ho to mere kamre men
Shey jagah par koi nahin milti

Khuwab jese shahar ka dekha tha
Wesi koi gali nahin milti

Kia kahun daur hi kuch aesa hai
Chain ki ek ghari nahin milti

Nit naey tajurbe na hon to sahir
Soch ko tazgi nahin milti
