Dil ke san’naatton mein rehne wale tanha tum hi nahe
Tanhai se batain karne walay tanha tum hi nahe

Is ishq ne barbaad kiya hai har shaks ko
Is ishq mein bikharnay walay tanha tum hi nahe

Kehnay ko tau faraq ek dil hi toota hai
Apna sab kuch lautanay walay tanha tum hi nahe

Shab-e-tanhai ki daastan aik si hai sab ki
Andheron mein rehne walay tanha tum hi nahe

Aisa lagta hai aik saza ho zindagi meri
Is qaid mein rehne wale tanha tum hi nahe

Is shehar mein aur bhi bewafa hain ‘Amir’
Dar dard bhataknay wale tanha tum hi nahe …
