Har kis ko duniya mei
shohratin nahi milti
zindgi ke lamhoun ki
keemtein nahi milti

fatah ki kwahish mei
amal bhi to lazim hai
sirf kuch iraadoun se
manzilein nahi miltien

faisle ye chahat ke
aasman pe hote hai
do diloun ke milne se
kismatein nahi miltien

deen aur dunya ko
saath rakhna
masjidoun mei baithne se
jannatein nahi milti

maan lo is zamaane mei
aur bhi huye hum jaise
ke hasb-e-aarzoo jinko
chahtein nahi milti
