Aaj bhi ek teray liey dil main chahatein baqi hain..

Tujhse jo karni thee woh adhuri batein baqi hain..

Tum ne kaise soch liya k humein teri talab nahi..

Dil mein utar k deikh ab bhi teri hajatein baqi hain..

Kabhi fursat milay to aa kar deikh mere makaan mein..

Aaj bhi teri khushbu, teri parchhai, teri ahatein baqi hain..

Deikh mera zarf k mein toot kar bhi bikhra nahi..

Aankh mein aansu hain magar lab per muskurahatein baki hain

Ek ajeeb sa manzar nazar aata hai,
Har ek qatra samandar nazara aata hai,

Kahan banaaon main ghar sheeshey se,
Har kisi ke hath mein pathar nazar aata hai..
