Kabhi moom bun k pighal gaiya
Kabhi girty girty sambhal gaiya
Wo bun k lamha guzar gaiya
Mery pass sai nikal giaya
Usy rokta bhi to kis tarha
K wo shakhs itna ajeeb tha
Kabhi tarap utha meri ah sai
Kabhi ashk sai bhi na pigal saka
Sir-e-rah milla wo agar kabhi
To nazar chura k guzar gaiya
Wo utar gaiya meri ankh sai
Mery dil sai kioun na utar saka
Wo chala gaiya jahan chor k
Main wahan sai phir na palat saka
Wo sambhal giaya tha Faraz magar
Main bikhar kar phir na simat saka
