lehjey barf ho jaen to phir pighla nahi kartey
parinday dar k urr jaen to phirlauta nahi kartey'

yaqeen uth jaey to shayad kabhi wapis nahi aata
hawaaon ka koi toofan kabhi barish nahi laata

Usey mein ne hi likha tha,
sheesha toot jaey to kabhi phir jurr nahi pata
jo rastey se bhatak jae wo wapis murr nahi pata

Usey kehna woh be-maani adhora khat
usey mein ne hi likha tha,
