BLACK
Associated negatively and often erroneously with evil, black is the colour not only of death, but also of regeneration. This belief goes back to Ancient Egypt when annual flooding of the Nile carried with it black silt which brought new life to the land each year. Black can be used for banishing negativity, for leaving old sorrows and for acknowledging grief. It encourages rest, cures insomnia and assists in working through loss.

WHITE
White is the synhesis of the colours of the rainbow. It is associated with higher energies, increasing spiritual awareness, enchanting meditation and creating channels of light for contact with spirit guides. Divinity and the higher consciousness. White increases the flow of the life-force especialy from cosmic sources and is helpfull where a new beginning, inspiration or a sudden burst of energy is required.


RED
Red represents action, power, determination, physical energy and health, passion and positive change. It offers courage to stand against injustice. Red stimulates the entire system, instantly boosting energy levels and kick-starting a sluggish immune system.


ORANGE
Orange enhances self-esteem and confidance, strengthening identity and creativity and establishing personal boundaries. Orange is the colour of joy and brings about the successful integration of all aspects of the personality into a harmonious whole. A gentle energiser, orange boosts a weak pulse rate and lifts exhaustion.

YELLOW
Yellow sharpens logic, focus, and all aspects of consious mind-power, including memory, learning, mental acuity and consentration; it strengthens willpower and enhances clear communication. Yellow balances emotions and strengthens an over-sensitive person.


GREEN
Green increases the flow of love, empathy and compassion. Because of its association with growth, green can be used for the gradual increase of all energies, especially wealth and recources as well as good luck. One of the most effective healing colours, it also counters panic attacks. Green stimulates general body regeneration.

BLUE
Blue brings an increase of existing opportunities. It is good for the voice and for clear communication and expression. Blue enhances wisdom attained through experience and brings success in legal matters, for justice and for situations where you would like to take the lead.

PURPLE
Purple represents unconcious wisdom and is used for all things of psychic and spiritual nature and divination. Purple is especialy potent for healing the spirit, banishing what lies in the past.


PINK
Pink encourages gentleness and kindness in family relationships and friendship. It is especialy good for healing past hurts, quiet sleep and for mending quarrels. It also increases general flow of love and compassion.


BROWN
Brown brings physical as well as psychic protection and aids in all practical matters, concerning material resources, the home, property matters and security, and learning new skills. Brown absorbs pain and sorrow, increases physical energy and primal strength.

GREY
The colour of smudge smoke, grey is very protective against physical, mental or physic attack. It is used primarily for neutralisation or erasing negative energies or feelings. It is the shade of compromise and adaptability. Grey is good for calming stress and fears.


SILVER
Silver represents dreams, visions and a desire for fulfilment beyond the material world. In times of stress and sorrow, silver can remove negativity, promote inner stability and bring out hidden potential.


GOLD
The colour of perfection, visions and actions that change the world, gold is also important for bringing out qualities of altruism and nobility of spirit.
