dukh yaad na tha

jo bhii dukh yaad na tha yaad aayaa
aaj kyaa jaaniye kyaa yaad aayaa

phir ko’ii haath hai dil par jaise
phir teraa ahd-e-vafaa yaad aayaa

jis tarah dhuNdh meN lipTe hue phuul
ek ek naqsh teraa yaad aayaa

aisii majboorii ke aalam meN koi
yaad aayaa bhi to kyaa yaad aayaa

ai rafiiq sar-e-manzil jaakar
kyaa koi aablaapaa yaad aayaa

yaad aayaa thaa bichaRnaa teraa
phir nahi yaad ke kyaa yaad aayaa

jab ko’ii zakhm banaa daaGh banaa
jab ko’ii bhuul gayaa yaad aayaa

ye muhabbat bhii hai kyaa rog “Faraz”
jis ko bhuule vo sadaa yaad aayaa
