چلو اب خواب آنکھوں ميں سجا کر ديکھتے ہيں
چلو اب ہم بھي کسي کو اپنا کر ديکھتے ہيں

خون کے رشتوں سے تو اعتبار اٹھ گيا
چلو اب بے نام رشتے بنا کر ديکھتے ہيں

زندگي آسان ہو جائے شايد ہماري بھي
چلو اب ہاتھ کي لکيروں کو مٹا کر ديکھتے ہيں

اندھيري شب تو کسي صورت کٹتي نہيں
چلو اب گھر اپنا جلا کر ديکھتے ہيں

ہميں معلوم ہے اعجاز تم نے ہمارا ہونا نہيں
چلو اب تم پر زندگي لٹا کر ديکھتے ہيں
