DIL k JALTE howe ZAKHMO
ko HAWA-MAT dena,

BEETE LAMHO k kisi PAL ko
SADA-MAT dena,

teri AANKHON k ye AANSOO
to ANMOL MOTI hen,

apni NAADANI me tum in ko
GANWA-MAT dena,

ab MAZA dene laga
DARD-E-MOHABAT mujh ko,

mujh ko is DARD ki ab koi
DAWA-MAT dena,

yun na ho k LOG MOHABAT
hi se TOBA karlen,

is tarah JURM-E-MOHABAT
ki SAZA-MAT dena,

LOG AKSAR yun hi
BIN-POCHE CHALE aate hen,

koi POCHE bhi to tum DIL
ka PATA-MAT dena
