khayal-o-khwab hue hain muhabbaten kaisi
lahu main nach rahin hain ye wahshaten kaisi

na shab ko chand hai acha na din ko mehar acha
ye ham pe bit rahi hain qayamaten kaisi

azab jin ka tabassum sawab jin ki nigah
khinchi hui hain pas-e-janan suraten kaisi

hawa k dosh pe rakhe hue charag hain ham
jo bujh gaye to hawa se shikayaten kaisi

jo bekhabar koi guzra to sada ye di hai
main sang-e-rah hun mujh par inayaten kaisi

jo a rahe so wo bhi ab sang-o-khisht lata hai
faza ye ho to dilon ki nazakaten kaisi
