Maghroor hi sahi--mujhey acha bohot laga
Wo ajnabi toh tha magar apna bohot laga

Rootha hua tha--hans toh dia mujh ko daikh kar
Mujh ko toh is qadar bhi dilaasa bohot laga

Sehra mein jee raha jo darya dili kay saath
Daikha jo ghor say toh wo pyaasa bohot laga

Wo jis kay dum qadam say thin basti ki ronaqain
Basti ujadh gai toh akaila bohot laga.....
