Aaj ki raat bhi guzri hai meri kal ki tarah
haath aaye na sitaare tere aa.Nchal ki tarah

raat jaltii hui ik aisii chitaa hai jis par
teri yaade.n hai.n sulagte huye sa.ndal kii tarah

tuu dariyaa hai magar merii tarah pyaasaa hai
mai.n tere paas chalaa aa_uu.Ngaa baadal ki tarah

mai.n huu.N ik Khvaab magar jaagtii aa.Nkho.n kaa
aaj bhi log gavaa.N de na mujhe kal ki tarah
