umar khusihyon mai basar ho zaroori to nahi
phir shab-e-gham ki sehar ho zaroori to nahi

neend to dard ke bistar par b aa jati hai
un ki aaghosh mai sar ho zaroori to nahi

mohabbat ko logon nay khail samajh rakha hay
us k matlab say hon sb aashna ye zaroori to nahi

har dua me mangte hain hum to sirf uss ko
hamari duwa mai asar ho ye zaroori to nahi

hamari zindagi main sirf uss ki hee kami hai
usse bhi hamari zaroorat ho ye zaroori to nahi
